Using one of the other skins seems to alleviate the display problems, thanks cginzel.
Alas, the replay/skip issue will not go away. I guess I have to settle for using GBPVR for recording and the Hauppauge software for playback. Not entirely what I want, but it is better than Sage for the simple fact of having different folders for the programs. That is, it will be better than Sage when I get the episode rename function working...
