TV402U recording sound in MP3?

Hello Everyone.

I just bought the TV402U PAL version here in the Netehrlands.
The WINDVR 5 software that is bundeled with the device is extremly slow and uses a lot of CPU power.
I have tried a few PVR utilities but GB-PVR beats them all.
I only have two small issues and I am hoping to resolve those with the help of this forum.

1. When chosing a recroding profile is there a way that I can select MP3 128 bit audio? Currently the only option I get is MP2 224bit.

2. I am trying to record multiple TV shows on different channels
using the TVGUIDE. All recordings are scheuled at a different time and a different channel. (e.g. no recording conflicts)
The first show is recorded OK using the correct channel.

But all of the following recordings, even if they are on a different channel, always record using the same channel number as the first recroding.

I have the same problem as you on changing channels on recorings. Think it must be a bug.

1) Not at this stage, maybe in a later release.

2) I've just run a series of tests this morning to check this. All recordings worked fine here and recorded the correct channels. Are you running up to date drivers? The original drivers shipped with the PX-TV402U had a few bugs. Get the latest on www.plextor.com

I have the latest drivers installed. I am also pretty sure it worked for a few days, I recorded several programs on different channels. Now it does not work anymore. I have tried to reinstall GBPVR and the problem appeared immediately...

I a pretty sure that I am using the latest drivers (2022c)for my Plextor TV402U unit. At least those are the latest drivers I could find.
