does it always stop on the same file? what does it say in the gbpvr.exe.log file (it prints out the url is trying to lookup and some other info). if its always the same file, try doing the same type of scan on that individual file and see what happens, sometimes its just takes ages if there are a lot of actors listed (try scanning "Pauly Shore is Dead&quotWink.

No its stop on video i already have info for, I would love for a skip button to be add to the pop-up when it gets hung, you hit skip that would help alot.  I takes so long because it has to scan every file again again again everytime.  it maybe timing out..

the basic info is downloaded again, but not the actor info. it could be a webtimeout but that should only be about 30seconds. what does it say in the log?

no, when ever you play a file a entry to the database for that file is created, so if you played a file with no info, it will create an entry with nothing but the "seen" value. and when you hit scan, the file will be skipped. im not going to do automatic skip.
