Did you have it running in a command window while trying to watch live tv?

"It looks like it's struggling to set the capture resolution. After the next release I'll be able to give you a patch to disable that temporarily, to see if sticking with the default resolution helps."

I have the UI Resolution set to "Auto". However when I was reviewing the settings for resolution, I think that this unstuck the LiveTv as it's now working again. There was an error message from Microsoft too, but I didn't see a description(I'll have to look closer next time). When this happens, I've found that if I start WinTV and then stop it that NPVR will work, which it did. I included the logs to see it there is something that makes more sense. I appreciate the help.

If the PVR 350 is your only tuner, then I don't see why you can't set UI Resolution to 720 X 480:

Code:
2013-07-04 09:15:18.906    [DEBUG][1]    Resolution is now: 720x480

However I think your July 2 problem was (once again) HauppaugeTVServer and NPVR Service trying to run at the same time.

This is unrelated to the capture resolution. This is about what the user interface is looks like. Some people with odd resolutions (like a 4x3 resolution on a 16x9 monitor etc), can use this UI Resolution setting to make sure their UI draws correctly.

The capture resolution relates to the video stream coming out of the capture device (PVR350 in this case). It needs to set the capture resolution to 720x480 because a lot of analog devices default to half resolution 360x240.
