sort pending recordings by recurrence_oid

What I want: additional sort option to sort recordings by recurrence_oid; this would have the effect of listing all single recordings (recurrence_oid=0) first. In the sort popup just call it "Sort by Recording Type", or "Single Recordings First", something like that (the secondary sort should be by date).

Why? Sometimes I'll page through the program guide for the upcoming week or two and look for movies I want to record, hitting Quick Record as I find them. When I'm done, I'd like to see a list of what all I set to record (see if I missed one, or got two of something, etc.). I first thought to ask for some sort of filtered list, then realized sorting by recurrence_oid would work perfectly and not require any extra screens, menus or keys.

My way for "filtering" is I set my recurring recording to store in a specific archive for TV Shows, "good" one-off movies I I force to auto record in Movies. (XBMC splits movies and tv which is a good thing) My default for one-off is to another folder which is pot-pourri for $500 Alex which I watch nicely in the Video Library.

What about genre, is is lost when a recording is completed or is it still in the database? I would like to be able to filter my recordings to display only "Movies", or "News" etc.

It's lost as a field but the original data is there.

sub I'd like to bump this request. if there's any concern about having too many sort options, I'd certainly vote off the Z-A sort and maybe the date ascending sort; neither seem to be of any use, and don't accomplish anything that can't be accomplished by using the A-Z or date descending sorts and jumping to the bottom of the list.
