Hi List

I have asked this question also on the npvr clients xbmc forum but with no answer yet so I am hoping that someone here might be able to assist me.

I am running xbmc 12.2 npvr 2.6.2 npvr client 1.6.5 everything works like a charm when timeshift is not enabled but with it enabled I get the error "NextPVR PVR Client Tuner no longer available" when I press on a channel to start viewing it, is there a remedy for this? anything that I can help with debuging this or somoene with this enabled and working that could shed some light for me?

Thanks

Do did you only install 2.6.2 files? Some users thought they needed to install an old NShared.

If so try, turn on debug logging in xbmc and compress and upload your xbmc.log. Also compress and upload the contents of the log folder C:\Users\Public\NPVR\logs

Hi

Many thanks for replying to me.

Yes it's a stock 2.6.2 npvr.

I please find attached the logs from both xbmc and npvr I turned on the debug, restarted xbmc to get a new log file and reproduced the issue.

I had a look my self also in the logs and initially I could see that it was complaining about missing ffmpeg so I did a apt-get install ffmpeg which solved that issue but still no joy, I have tried with dvblogic since I own a license of their latest version which works with timeshift but sadly their client blows and continously crashes making it useless but it did confirm that timeshifting can work.

Many thanks again for looking into this.

Based on your logs I think there is an issue that sub needs to look at when he gets back. At 10:10:26 the client doesn't seem to fill the timeshift buffer before feeding the demux.

Okei so for once it's not me Smile just a wildcard guess here but is there any possible temporary workarounds or is a code change required?
