I noticed the other day that anything I record on my local Fox channel has no sound. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?

All the other channels record fine it just seems to be this one channel. This started in v0.90 so I upgraded to v0.91 but it didn't seem to help.

Thanks in advance,
Robin

So I installed wintv2000 and *initially* the sound didn't work there either. I mucked around with the "fine" tuning bar for that channel and it worked. I now have sound for Fox in wintv2000!

Question is, can I do something similar with GBPVR ? !

I've found several articles on the net about this problem, it seems fairly common, however no single solution has worked for me in GBPVR.

Same thing for me. No sound on Fox (Time Warner ch. 2 in Austin). Also no sound on UPN (channel 23). All other channels work fine, and these two used to work last week.

Did you find a solution? I'm in Austin also and this is the only solution I've found:

(see the attachment)

The only thing about my solution is that the picture quality is bad now.

I have a similar problem.. I don't get the commentary voice track when watching Fox Sports in the US in HDTV. I seem to get only the stadium noise audio track (ie the background noise). Commercials seem to work fine, and my Hauppauge 150 receives the analog channel fine. If I just crank the volume, I get the commentary track really faintly. Regular Fox programming works fine, it's only the sports.

While this would be an extremely cool "feature" if I could turn it on and off, it would be nice to be able to listen to the commentary once in a while to hear the Cards whine about losing the NLCS...Big Grin
