HD PVR 2 recording at low bitrate

Well, I record with Happauge Capture or ArcSoft ShowBiz Video Editor, both settings are set like this:



I guess ShowBiz could work with other recording devices. But I wouldn't know how NPVR could offer the setting option.

If it is really functional in Hauppauge Capture, I expect it could be a feature in NextPVR sometime.

It would be great if you could implement this, in a near future. Right now NPVR I like to use the most for preprogrammed recordings, but the 4.0 profile, I'm not too excited. Unless someone prouved me there isn't much differance...

In a break with my neither confirm nor deny policy towards future release, but there may be some settings in the config.xml for the next release to control this type of stuff. Not worth putting settings in the UI - most people will never need them.
