Hi, im using madVR as the renderer for the latest 3.1.1 nextpvr and its not working as expected. When i open nextpvr its in a small window which i have to resize for madvr to display properly as it seems to only display the upper left corner of the tv channnel. With the EVR renderer i never had to do that but iv stopped using EVR as it was causing way too high DPC latency. In fullscreen the nextpvr osd never disappears which again was not a problem with the EVR renderer.

If i could just get the OSD to disappear id be happy but any help would be great.

Thanks

I've never been able to get madVR to work properly. If the video's native size is larger than the NPVR window, it only displays a portion of the video (as you've seen). If you Alt+Enter to fullscreen then back to windowed mode, the video will sometimes display the correct size, but then the OSD never appears. As you've also seen, when in fullscreen, the OSD will always stay visible for HD content but hides correctly for SD content.

Sorry, no answers for you but it's not just your machine.

OK that's not great as that's the only renderer in the list in nextpvr that works for me. The other renderers cause dpc latency spikes or audio/video stuttering.

In nextpvr there is evr, vmr9, vmr9 custom, vmr9 fse, vmr7, overlay and madvr. Is there any other renderers that will work ?

welcome!

No one uses madvr here as it doesn't work properly with NextPVR.

EVR should work just fine but make sure you have the audio renderer left on default else you will likely get problems.
what hardware do you have (esp. graphics card or chipset).
set the renderers to EVR and default, reproduce the problem and zip and upload all the logs in the logs folder so we can take a look.

I recommend that you use SAF

Send a forum private message to Hoborg to ask for the "locked" version. Then set Decoders as ...

No, those are the only renderers that NextPVR will use. Have you tracked down the source of your DPC latency issues? A good guide: http://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-...7-8-a.html
