Unable to Update EPGs?

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble uploading an EPG to NextPVR. I got the EPG for my region using mc2xml, but when I try to upload it, I get the following error message:

"This xml file is not a device channel list previously created with the 'Export Channels' feature. No channels imported".

How can i fix this? Should I manually add them to the BAT? That would take forever.

The mc2xml is just the EPG, not the configuration of the channels themselves. You need to setup your channels on the Settings->Devices, screen. ie, go into your device settings, then either scan for channels (if you've got a digital device), or use the 'Import' button if you're using an analog device.

The author of the Wiki's mc2xml page was using an analog device as an example when he wrote "4.Click IMPORT." If you're using a digital tuner and you've already scanned for channels, your next step is to "map" the channels to the xml file as described on the XMLTV page: http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...TVEPG#toc2 Another confusing thing about that Wiki page: It says to copy and paste the UpdateEPG.bat file, but the second line should not include quotation marks.
