Hauppauge 2250 no video (analog)

If you've got a STB plugged into the back of your HVR-2250, then go into the first analog device, and add a channel using the svideo input.

If that's not giving you video, it could be the video decoder you're trying to use. To check, try doing a recording, then play the recording with another player, like VLC.

OK, so I tried recording a video and it's still blank (blue). I can see video in SageTV and WinTV, but not NextPVR. :-(

I also played with the codec choices again, but it made no difference.

If you're seeing blue, then it's not decoders. ie, it's managing to capture video (but not the input you want), and is managing to decode it.

I'm not in a position to give you patches with more logging right now, since my build is no longer compatible with 3.2.9, but if you're still interested when the next release is available, I'll be able add more logging to try to collect more info on why it's not happening for you.
