Problems Playing on PCH-A100 but OK on the PC

Sorry to sound simple, I'm not sure what you mean?
I started the PCH, ran the CGI scripts from USB as normal, got the NPVR Screen. I can ONLY telnet (putty) to the NMT from the server when I run NPVR
I then typed in etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2 to putty
I then went OUT of the NPVR menu and BACK to the NMT menu like you said, and ran the ts video file. I did not run anything from NPVR because you said not to?
From the NMT menu they work. From NPVR they fail.

You can't run /etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2 while NextPVR is on the screen. You have to exit to the NMT menu to run it. After running it I want to see the putty.log

But Martin, with all due respect, I did try to tell you at the outset (not very well it seems), putty will NOT run (for me) at the NMT menu. It just "jumps out", does not connect to the NMT at all. It runs at the NPVR menu just fine.

Anyway I think I have some success; I think I have done something silly. I took a file from this thread

and dropped it into the C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web\App_Code\Classes directory.

It seems to have stuffed up the PCH system causing it to jump out. I downloaded the latest NEWA,

Followed the instructions, which restored that vlcutility.cs file and bingo. Works.

Glad you got it that probably explains the 500 error that I didn't understand.

I know putty won't run from the NMT screen. You have to start nextpvr running on the NMT and then exit back to the NMT screen without unplugging using the power button on the remote.

I am pretty sure I did that, but perhaps I went the exit route on the menu, which also takes you back. Never mind, sorted now!
