Is there any updated or addtional info for the video Archiver, stuff like exactly how this plug-in is installed, and where the files should be in the directory so I could troubleshoot. I installed the plug-in and it only work once, and will not work again. Selecting a show to archive, nothing happens only displaying "archiving so and so show". I also select it to archive shows over 1 day old and I've been seeing a message everyday saying "archiverutility.exe - common language. "aplplication has generated an excepting that could not be handled. process id=0xcc8 (3272, Thread id=0xf20 (3872).
so I'm not sure if it didn't install correctly.

I have three hard drives.
c-drive where gb-pvr is located
d-drive is a 200gig where I set up to put all the archiving.
g-drive is where Gb-pvr records the shows to.

other then that, It will play and delete the show files normally.

I did downloaded and installed the neccessary files and shown the plug-in where they are at.
Thanks
Jeff

The zip file contains the directory structure that should be used. Basically the plug-in DLL goes into the plug-in directory, the .mdb file goes intot he Jeff subdirectory, the skin files go into their sub directories, and all the other exe and dll files go into the main GBPVR directory. This last point is different than previous releases where the other utilities such as the archiver utility went into the Jeff subdirectory. They now need to be in the main gbpvr directory because they need access to the main gbpvr dlls.

If you have an old version of the postepgupdate.bat file you will need to edit it to change the location where it looks for the archiveupdate utility.

cool, I'll try looking into it, come to think of it. I think I moved those utilities to the main directorty I think when I was fiddling around. I think I'll removed it and reinstall it.
so that mdb file is suppose to be in the jeff folder, is it called archive.mdb?
because I notice that file located in my e-drive. for example
my e-drive is the 160 gig. where I want it to archive to
so the settings is
e:\archive\
so when I did a archive for a star trek episode I looked at the drive after and
see a star trek folder with the mpg files. I also see a mdb file in the archive folder on the e drive.

The .mdb file just starts in the Jeff folder. It is then copied to the location you specify upon initial startup. You can also just put it into whatever directory you specify as the archive location and that will be fine as well. The archive database file doesn't have to be in the same place where you actually archive the files.
