HI there.
I don't know if this happens with manual recordings as well, but when I recorded 60 minutes last night via the TV guide module in the web interface, the recording suddenly cut out after an hour and a half.
Is there anything I can do to stop this happening? sometimes, TV programs over here run overtime.
I've set NextPVR to record a 3 hour test broadcast via the manual record option. I'm going to see if the video still cuts out when using the manual option as opposed to the tv guide.

There is no known issue that would cause this. You'd need post the logs so we could see what happened.

looks like I was right about manual recordings. I set NextPVR to manually record a channel 9 broadcast for 3 hours, then ran GOM player nearly 2 hours into the broadcast, and the video did not cut out like it did when using the TV guide to record a program, it only cut out at the point where I stopped it, about an hour and 50 minutes into the show.
So, Manual recordings rule. Thanks for Nothing, Channel 9!

I have recorded plenty of long recordings from the guide without any problem of them getting cut short, you do need to select the appropriate amount of post padding of course (which (from what I have read) for you lot in Aus is quite a lot)

I have seen this happen a few times, it seems to be a EPG issue IIRC, it just didn't record the whole thing.

There is no difference when recording whether it was from a manual recording or from the EPG. They're both just recording channel x from time y-z. In the case of a manual recording, the user entered the start and end times when the created the recording. In the case of a recording from the EPG, the system entered the start and end times when it created the recording. (ie, only difference is way before the recording actually started, back when it scheduled the recording)

What TV card are you using?
TBS6285 PCI-E DVB-T2/T/C Quad Tuner Card (This is a bad card, I have so many problems with it)
TBS6281 PCI-E DVB-T2/T/C Dual Tuner Card
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2200 PCI-E

Right, I meant the EPG data was incorrect.
