Not blasting when timer recording.

I am running Kodi 14.2 with nextpvr 3.4.8 as my backend and am running IR Server Suite 1.5.0-62 with a USB-UIRT. My problem is that when in live tv I can change channels w/o a problem, but when I schedule a timer it will not blast. If I quick record during a show it will change the channel fine and record (only on timer recordings in the future it fails to blast?.).

Note: I started with Gbpvr 5-6 years ago and loved it, but when the redesign started I left to MediaPortal and just decided to give NPVR another try and the recordings are every bit as impressive as I remember (The best analog PVR software around). My recording are dare I say are as almost good as the org broadcast. I just need to figure this blasting problem out and I will be in heaven (almost).

Live tv and recordings are essentially the same, and should run the same blaster code.

If you can do a recording, then post your nrecord.log, I'll check if it's attempting to run your configured blaster.

It would seem to be trying to blast, but I get nothing. That is the way I always thought that live tv and recording are the same thing only one gets strored. This is why I can't figure this out. It has been this way since the weekend and the only thing I can think of is that I installed X-NEWA and am still using your PVR plugin also by the way. I disabled X-NEWA, but no dice. If you want the full log I will post it.

It would seem that disabling X-NEWA did make a diff. I just had success with a recording. Trying another in 10 min, if this one works I can maybe sleep w\o getting up to change the channel. Thank you sub for all your hard work and your quick reply.

x-newa is just a python script so that seems totally wrong. I am guessing your STB might be going to sleep so recording that are close will work, hours from now they will fail.

Well it is working as far as I can see. Might have been a conflict with X-NEWA and your plugin(or something), I don't know, but it seems to be fixed. Will try to post back tomorrow when I have 3 recordings scheduled.

Well after two days I got it figured out . It was my virus detector Comodo and I had told it's HIPS (Malware preventer) to go into learning mode. It would seem that when I sent the blast it would go through, but after around 15 min after it would block the blast from NPVR. Thank you for your time and hard work to make the best analog PVR software out there IMHO.
