Compatibility with Windows 10

It worked perfectly on windows 8.1, when I moved to the Windows 10 does not work anymore. The channels are detected but clicking on live TV just get a black screen with no audio.

I have already installed several codec packages and not solved.

Windows 10 64-bit, 6GB RAM, Intel i5

I have a Silicondust HD Prime. Works perfectly with Win 7 and Nextpvr. I updated my fist PC with windows 10. Also re installed nextpvr along with an updated copy of HDhomeun.

Now NextPVR records perfectly but will not play live or recorded videos. Only black screen. VLC plays videos recorded with NextPVR perfectly.

With this in mind i had a second PC that used Windows Media Center with HDhomerun. That worked perfectly. Upgraded to win 10 and of course no Windows Media Center. I updated HDhomerun to version compatable with Win 10 which works perfectly fine on both PC's. I then installed NextPVR. Exact same results as first PC. Live video, Black Screen. Recorded video, Black Screen. Videos play perfectly with VLC and live video plays perfectly with HDhomerun.

Being a glutton for punishment i decided to try upgrading a 3rd PC. Got same exact results as first two.

I have a total of 9 PC's in my house and all of them still work perfectly with Win 7 and Windows Media Server/ or NextPVR.

Obviously there is a compatibility issue with NextPVR and Windows 10. No more upgrades for me until this gets resolved.

There is no known problems with NextPVR on Win10. It most likely just down to the choice of decoders on the Settings->Decoders screen.

If you want to reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs directory, we can check
