OK, you helped me fix it.

You mentioned MSVCR110.DLL. I searched around and found that I needed to re-apply Visual C 2012 x86 Runtime. Once I had re-applied it the program started working just fine. After installing the LAV filters every channel worked fine.

Thanks for all your help!

You mentioning MSVCR110.DLL led me to http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windo...80799724db

That sorted me out straight away.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for johnsonx42 to update the the NextPVR Tech Support Sticky (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post480931) to mention that as a fix, especially with the Windows 10 upgrade process's handling of run-times (or lack there of).

You'd think that the Visual C run-times would be in the Windows Features, with .Net. Then again, who's ever accused Microsoft of being logical, eh?

msvcr110.dll is installed by NextPVR into the NPVR directory along side the rest of the application, so this shouldn't be possible.

I don't think we've encountered another user with this problem, so not really sure what to think about this problem happening. Will probably wait to see if we have any other reports before including it in the sticky.

I also had an unhandled exception error concerning the unmanaged.dll and installing the 32bit version of the Visual C++ fixed the problem. The problem caused me not to find any devices and threw the error. I had installed another program that required a different version of Visual C++ so that might have broken NPVR.
