Live TV freezing on client PC

Hi,

Live TV playback is consistently failing on my client PC. I rarely get more than 3 or 4 minutes before playback freezes.

Recordings play fine on this client. I am also able to stream live TV to my PC at work for hours without failure.

I have disabled the firewalls on both server and client and this makes no difference.

I believe this started happening with version 3.48. I am currently running 3.5.7 on both client and server, and both are Windows 8.1 x64.

I have attached logs from the client and server.

Any idea why this is happening?

Today I have set up a new server and client using some spare PCs, and I'm seeing the same behviour - client playback stops after no more than a couple of minutes.

I can stream channels from the server to the same client using VLC and they seem to play indefinitely.

It's a real shame that PC client playback appears to be broken now as it worked well for a really long time.

Is there any chance of looking in to this? I'm more than happy to do any testing that's requred.

Is it on all channels or only certain channels?

I am seeing this on DVB-T2 SD & HD channels, and also on IPTV channels streamed from my Vu+ box.

I'll try to take a look at this.

I'm always a lot slower to reply to client questions because I don't have one setup all the time, and it takes some effort to get one setup to check anything. If I don't get back to you, feel free to keep prodding me from time to time.
