Hi All,

I have been trying to get Next PVR to schedule American Horror Story: Hotel but it won't do it. I originally created a schedule on a standard def channel when an HD channel was available and it showed up in the recurring recordings. Since I wanted the HD channel, I deleted the recurring recording and tried recreating it on the high def channel instead but it would not schedule it. I deleted the recording and tried creating a recurring schedule for all episodes instead of just new epeisode with no success. I then tried recreating the recording on the SD channel with still not luck. Any ideas?
Chris

Won't that remove all recording history though? Something I would like to try and avoid if possible. Thanks!

it removes the recently_deleted history. if you don't want to dump the history then you can either go into the database with a SQL tool (SQLiteSpy, the firefox sqlite plugin, etc.) and remove those episodes, or simply schedule the next few showings with a quick record; new episodes that show up in the EPG going forward will be scheduled by the recurring recording you've already created.

Thanks for the info, I can do that. I do have a question though, why did NPVR mark the show as recently_deleted? It hadn't been recorded yet to delete, I deleted the recurring recording.

you must have canceled the individual recordings before deleting the recurring recording. this causes the episodes to be added to recently_deleted as the program infers you don't want that specific episode recorded; if it didn't add them to recently_deleted, they'd just show up again after the next EPG update. if you just delete the recurring recording first, it will remove the individual recordings but won't add them to recently_deleted.
