Change 10ft Wide "Video" selection screen to ...... like "Search"

Hi All,

I wonder if it was possible to change the 10ft wide "Video" Screen (see below)

to the same format as the "Search" Screen (see below) and adding the search functionality...
The Left Panel for the "movie / series " as is and the Right Panel for Episodes not date.

Something like the Western Digital Live TV Player or Windows Explorer

In Videos, Up key to the hidden menu and select view till you get the 'folder' view, then type a letter to go to the first show (or sub-folder) starting with that letter...

It almost works as described.
The "type a letter" to navigate to the required folder does not work as "I Expect it to" :confused:

I would expect that if I type a "v" I go to Vikings (works) then if I type a "d" I should go to Dead Like Me (nope) I end up at Game Of Thrones,
From Game Of Thrones I type an "I" to go to iZombie but I end up in UnReal. Strange, Very Strange :confused:

Go up until the "Menu" line gets highlighted, then go over to "View". While "View" is highlighted, the onscreen arrangement will change each time you click the OK button on the remote. One of the options is a list, without the giant icons.

If you're using a mouse, just move to the top of the screen and click on "View" until you get to the display that you want.

Might be a bug in navigation then - but it certainly gets you close to where you want to go... for me it always goes to the first folder which starts with the letter I type in, even with folders which start with the same letter - maybe recreate the problem and post your logs giving some details about when you see the problem...

Hi Alex, HarryH3,

Still having the same problem as described above. I have (the app did anyway) zipped my logs and they are attached.

I am using 3.6.6. so I would expect the navigation to work as you (Alex) described.
Navigation via the arrows and the mouse both work.

I will start up another thread in "Support" with a link back to this thread.
