After rescanning for available channels I'm spending half an hour deselecting all the new channels that I don't want to add.
It would be a lot more user friendly if the new channels were indicated by a mark in an additional column (or by highlighting the row) and then you could quickly scroll through the list of channels and click the checkbox of the new channels that you want to include.

New channels vs existing channels are already shown in a different color. You can right click and choose 'Deselect All', then just choose those channels you want.

You're right, this already helps. But if I'm not mistaken if I click disable all it's not possible to distinguish between channels that I've ignored/desabled before and channels that are new since last scan...

It's something I've wished for in the past - the ability to flag a channel as one that I never want to see again in a scan list. An Astra scan in the UK can produce 900+ channels and wading through them all after a scan is a real pain......

No, as the ini file controls transponders and not the selection of channels on each transponder.
Also the main reason for scanning (for me) is the movement of channels across transponders. So the request was for channel name selection for hiding the dross channels.
