Intermittent crash

I note I have an intermittent crash? well the gui closes when changing channels sometimes. I had been playing about with codecs late last night, settling on powerdvd and lav for audio. Logged in remotely from work at lunch time today and all great could not get it to crash no matter how fast I was changing channels, thought I had cracked it.

However got home tonight put on a free to air channel and the gui crashed, well it just closed with no error.

Do these logs collected immediately after the crash give any indication as to why?

Is there a crash message in the Windows Event Viewer?

Alternatively, if you create a c:\temp directory, is there a c:\temp\crash.mdmp when this happens?

No crash dump or events unfortunately. Just the mdapi log in c\:temp

I am suspecting it's something to do with your multidec plugin. I was hoping to see a crash dump though so we'd know for sure.

Me too, it is acamd. I'll check for a crash dump each time it happens and post if one is produced.

Ironically it appears to have been a program called restart on crash that was causing it to crash.
