Due to a HDD upgrade, I upgraded nextPVR from v2.5.9 that I used for years with little problem to the recent version 3.9.2. I am excited for the updated search function.

Delete:
>I noticed in Recordings that when there is only one recording under a title (last episode or a movie), there is no delete confirmation when choosing the delete menu option. I do see the confirmation when multiple files are in the title list. Is this by design? Is there an option to change this?

Season/Episode/Title
>In Recordings, some recordings of the same title have often incorrect "season" and "part" metadata, some do not. The list of episodes under a specific title then has an odd look of something like:
Saturday Night Live: blabla bla
S09E37: blady bla
S09E65: blahbhlah
Saturday Night Live: more blah

Is there a way to change how these episodes are displayed?

Thanks for any help.

It's a little hard to follow what you're describing. I suspect if you untick the 'show metadata screens in Recordings' tickbox on the Settings->Artwork screen, you'll see the screens largely as they were in your old version.

The meta recording screens are still work in progress. You can always got back to the traditional Recording menu via setup.

Ah, thanks, unchecking the "show metadata screens" did the job. Any tips on delete without confirmation when only one recording is present issue?

For reference, I'll include some detail of what I was seeing in the Recordings section. In both of the screenshots attached, you can see the two kinds of title display. Also, you'll see in the metadata.xml files of the two SNL episodes that one has season/episode info and the other doesn't. Same for the Frontline metadata (but at least the Frontline also has a subtitle).

Code:

Those screenshost are both the metadata screens. You can disable that to get the existing behaviour of the Recordings screen, including confirmation.

Sorry for being unclear. I included the screen shots just for reference on what I was previously describing in case someone else was seeing it or if a correction to the metadata display wanted to be made for the future. I have since disabled the metadata screens and like the appearance.

I thought it was a separate issue but I seen now that the delete confirmation when only one recording is present works now too as well.

Thanks.
