Sub, I tried both those suggestions of lowering the resolution and cycling the aspect ratios. No luck. If anything at lower resolutions the problem is worse.

I'm trying to make my bug report to Intel as comprehensive as possible...
It turns out that if you play an MKV file through "Videos" on NextPVR, the issue does not occur. If you play a .ts file through "Videos" on NextPVR, the issue does occur. I'm going to upload a .ts file for them, but I thought that was interesting. If they were to use a random video file, the problem would not be reproduced.

Was the mkv file 720p or 1080i, or something else? ie, interlacing might be a factor.

Ah, yes the MKV is 640x352 (it's an old one), progressive.
I don't have any non-interlaced .ts, but I'd be happy to try is one were available.

Okay, so I tried the 1080p25.ts sample from here: https://www.w6rz.net/
https://www.w6rz.net/1080p25.zip Unfortunately, it exhibits the same flickering glitch.

Hey everyone,
So an update on this, after many months since the issue was reported, Intel have released a new driver which seems to have fixed this flashing on screen graphics bug. It can be downloaded here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloa...duct=80939 I'm interested to hear if this works for you. I've tried it on two machines, one it works perfectly, on another it fixes the flashing graphics but introduced a problem of crashing the PC. This might be limited to my machine only. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for that. I have been experiencing this flashing at the bottom of the screen, particularly when the timeline is displayed, since I first set up NPVR but I have just installed the latest Intel driver and it seems to have fixed it!

Last night I noticed that my Intel graphics driver updated with a date of 03/08/2020. This reintroduced the flashing onscreen graphics bug. I removed this update and went back to 05/05/2020 and the graphics are okay with that version.
If anyone else is experiencing flashing onscreen graphics, maybe they could post a report? I'm happy to raise the issue with Intel again.
