Theatre Plugin erroring out

Theatre Plugin erroring out

I just updated to the latest release, and now I am getting the following errors when I try to run the Theatre plugin.

Is anyone else having this problem?

this occurs with the plugin and not the get theater listings??

Yes, that is correct. I can run the batch file from a command prompt without a problem. I can also run the .exe file from the command prompt followed by my zip with no problem. The error doesn't happen until I Select the Theater button from the main menu. As soon as I click on the second error dialog, GBPVR quits and I'm back at my desktop.

I think the fact that it quits so quickly, might explain why their is nothing in the log file, as I think the log files don't get a chance to get written to.

Any help on this would be great!

I have no idea. Smile Lets start with the skin. I can not believe that it is just a skin problem but it takes one thing out of the equation. Can you switch to RedSky or Blue and see if it still happens. I would expect it too. The next step would be to develop a private with more logs. Are you having any other plugin problems?

I normally use blue skin. I switched to Red Sky skin, but I still get the same error dialogs.

I am having other plugin problems, with the XRecord, but then so is everyone else, that I can see. It's the problem with the weird dates.

Hey Jorm,

First of all, I want to thank you for responding to my post so quickly! That was awesome. Cool

The Theatre plugin is working now. After I rebooted my machine and I started GBPVR, the plugin worked.

Before the reboot, I tried almost everything I could think of, including stopping all GBPVR services and even the IR app, AND re-re-installing the theatre plugin-which didn't work. As a last thought, I decided to reboot.

I'm sorry if I had you on a wild goose chase.

No problem. I am glad it is working. The date issue with xrecord I am working with jrock on it.
