Okay let me get this outta the way I am new to the PVR scene having just installed my Hauppage 250 PVR card and gbpvr software.
I have attampted to install the IMDB & dvdlist plugins.
I have so far managed to be able to get my movies to list in gbpvr but after selecting the genre and then the movie - all I get is, "no IMDB entries found".

I have used the dvdlist exe. and have input my movies and in the section where it says "link" have input the URL to the corresponding movie from the IMDB site.

There was not much documentation on how to configure/use this plugin.

Can anyone steer me through this ?

Thanks

That's an understatement.
I gave up on it, because I never could figure out how it's supposed to be configured.
Having to manually go to IMDB, find the link, and input it somewhere, seemed to be defeating the purpose of having an IMDB plugin. It should be able to get the movie data from IMDB, without having to jump through hoops.
You can never have enough tuners!

The video archiver plug-in will also list DVDs (if they are in .iso or .mpg format) and automatically download information from IMDB. It is not awash in documentation either, but is supported.

Thanks for the suggestion re: the aforementioned software.
I have attempted to install it using the directions provided.
I overwrote my skins files using the provided skinsand extracted the .exe's to the gbpvr main dir. I then clicked each exe. hoping to reg them. as the there is no bat file. I then rebooted. Then went into the config util.... no dice. There is no listing for the VAPlugin.

Help ?

How did you finally get IMDB plugin to work?

Does it link to all movies at IMDB?

Thanks!
