I just upgraded my system to windows 7 and I just installed the latest version of gbpvr. in my haste after the initial setup I downloaded a few plugins (burndvdX2, weather2 and cinema). I used the installer programs and checked config to make sure that the plugins showed and were checked (they were). However, when I started up gbpvr the plugins were not on the menu.
I am sure that I have just overlooked domething simple, but any help would be great!Big Grin

check the logs, it's probably something missing that will show up in there..
post them if you can't find anything...

I think there is a limit of items on the main menu, maybe nine?

I will try to get the logs up later on this evening. I did try disable some of the menu items that were already there and that didn't help.

thanks for the quick replied though!

In the config app are the plugins you're expecting enabled? (do they have a tick next to them).

Also, what's the contents on your gbpvr/plugins folder?

As a side note, I found it best to set permissions on the gbpvr folder to 'everyone' as most plugins arn't Windows7 / UAC aware.

Did you drag and drop the plugin above "Exit" in the Config screen?

Martin

Not sure about that, I have at times had almost every plugin active when skinning, with no sub-menus.

Also, I don't believe the order "Above exit" is important either.

I would really make sure plugins are enabled is checked, and there is a check mark by them.

Thanks for all the help guys! I got everything working. The problem was with the UAC I needed to turn it completely off before my plugins would show.

I'll have to check this out, I don't have GBPVR in the C:\Program Files\ folder on my windows 7 box, so I will see if I get the same results if I install it there.
