Pretty sure this hiccup has nothing to do with the EPG provider and everything to do with Windows 10 Fresh start and the following interaction with the NPVR installer. Removing the windows.old avoids the issue.
As for Schedules Direct I am sure it is a fine service. You are correct. However I don't buy things like Sirius XM radio or Cable TV either. Its just that much more satisfying to use ones knowledge and skills to listen to free public radio on a clear AM channel from Central America that came in by atmospheric skip transmission at night or catch a public broadcast TV signal with your antenna. And so it goes with the epg. Some day I might go with SD. Its just that the day has not yet arrived
