for a while now i've had an issue where the WebUI suddenly stops working. the recording service is still running and recording will still happen.

any ideas on what to look for? Sometimes the webui will work for a an hour or more, sometimes only several minutes until it stops working. I generally use Kodi 17.6 as a client and since the Webui seems to no longer be listening it prevents the Kodi addon from workng as well. This suddenly started happening about a month and a half ago.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling (keeping the database and config.xml files)

Logs are attached.

I would check the Windows event viewer to see if there are any errors from the web server. Copy the message here if you find any.

Sigh... went and looked at the Event viewer logs and saw power event messages... apparently somewhere along the line Windows enabled sleep mode... disabling sleep mode and will see what happens...

perplexed as to when/how that got enabled as Windows is running in a VM on esxi and I had previously disabled sleep mode.

Fingers crossed this is all the problem is.

will report back if I find something different.

Just wanted to drop a line and say that it was indeed something to do with sleep mode trying to activate (the VM would never actually go to sleep, would try and immediately wake up on it's own). Disabling sleep mode has fixed the issue where the WebUI would sporadically stop working.

Thanks for the suggestion to check the event viewer as it slipped my mind to even check for anything there.
