alternate ntfs streams gone?

oh, btw the filename was "Mom" and it recorded fine...so not sure why it thinks there's no valid filename..can't get any simpler than that..lol
to be exact, "Mom.S04E21.A.Few.Thongs.and.a.Hawaiian.Funeral.ts"

oh and if you notice it started parallelprocessing.bat just fine w filename, but couldn't start postprocessing.bat because it had lost name along the way...?

this would explain why no ntfs data nor .xml metadata is ever created,regardless of settings, it forgets the name before it's time to write it

I'm not sure why that would be. Haven't seen any other reports of this. Maybe reboot and try again.

now finally working...ntfs and the .xml creation...
it was that darn ensemble setting...setting that back eventually did the trick..

i'm still going to test the autoremovemissing later today..

ok, great - glad you got it sorted.

I double checked the master setting for the installer, and it is <StoreEnsembleMetadataXml>false</StoreEnsembleMetadataXml>, so I'm not sure how that happened.

i probably searched for metadata and didn't notice it was ensemblemetadata and not StoreSeparateMetadata..

as for the autoremove, the other setting NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing is probably ok as all my dirs existed..
