Errors on 2nd test machine

I tried installing on a second machine (similar build) and, I get these errors:

[13] Unexpected error in service locator thread: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted
at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.UpdateStatusAfterSocketErrorAndThrowException(SocketError error, String callerName)
at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoBind(EndPoint endPointSnapshot, SocketAddress socketAddress)
at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Bind(EndPoint localEP)
at System.Net.Sockets.UdpClient..ctor(Int32 port, AddressFamily family)
at NShared.LocatorService.LocatorThread()

Is NextPVR v4 already running on this machine? If so, you do get this error:

Regarding that "Object reference not set" error, did you have a previous NextPVR v5 pre-release on this machine? If so, you need to remove the NEXTPVR_DATADIR environment variable and restart.

Yes v4 is running under a different port. No errors with v4 at all.

And yes, I did forget to remove the environment variable because I am an idiot!
Made the change and it's now starting up. I'll set a few recordings tonite and see how this one does.

Yeah, unfortunately the service locator will generate this error if they're both on the same machine. It's not a big deal though - just ignore it.

Actually, it's working better on the 2nd system than on my main system. In the short time I've played with it, it's done nothing wrong!
