Hey, I just tried each device on dvbviewer and the tuning and picture both work, so yeah they are working. It's pretty odd though, if it's not reporting right but still working

These Digital Devices drivers have always been a little odd in how they behave. It'll be a case of NextPVR needing to ignore the lack of reported output and just continue anyway, or something like that.
