This is all really well documented on the Kodi wiki and with a google search https://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file

Enabled it, reboot and reproduced the bug. 11:26 am: started recording CBS Face the Nation 11:28 am: started playing recording from beginning 11:29 am: play stopped (still recording) log: http://paste.kodi.tv/qudoxosego (hope this time, it is the correct debug log)

Ok that helps but it appears like a resume not play from beginning at that time.

No I see the recording.save so that is ok what is not clear is why it is resuming not restarting

I will have to play with this with v5 in the next week or so to see what is showing for my files. It is hard for me to remember the sequence of read events. The RPi may have different h/w characteristics too. Martin |
