There was some previous code for this, but the code is commented out, so not included in current v4 release.

Not included ? I don't understand : maybe i didn't explained myself well : i deleted cach artwork then modified my xml file manually to put a specific image link (a flower, not related at all to TV) in the line "icon src" of a program :

With none service enabled, NextPVR is downloading and displaying the image i linked in the xml file.

Ok, I'll take your word for it. At this stage though, it's not the sort of bug I'd be bothered going back to the v4 source code to fix. It's all about v5 these days.

If it is a bug, i'm happy to have it . It is what i want : NextPVR using images links in my epg.xml file : it is perfect.

I hope v5 will have the same function (bug ).
