Stream Freeze

Good afternoon,

I had a stream freeze earlier today and could not change until Jeopardy! (MY Recording) came on.  Please let me know how to do this manually if need be.  It was stuck on a channel and would not move.  I could program a script or something if need be to alleviate it. It seems to work now.

Your HDPVR didn't deliver a signal, perhaps the STB was off.

it did. it was hanging on a channel, and I could not turn it.

Also I got some annoying messages on kodi about deleting recordings of jeopardy and then scheduling for recording. is that fixable? (seperate question)

Whatever was happening does not sound like a NextPVR issue.

You can turn some PVR notifications off in Kodi. Please read the Kodi wiki before posting.

the blaster would not blast.. i am trying to figure out why it resolved itself. it hung on channel 1023

Nothing particularly interesting. These are just normal messages you get when it's finding the various parts of the HDPVR to hookup together. The driver comes as multiple parts, crossbar filter, capture filter, encoder filter. This message is just saying it found the bits that go together to make a set. ie, not a big deal when there is only one in a machine, but a necessity when there is multiple HDPVR devices, with multiple of these filters, and they only work together with the components that are part of the same device.

Thanks again sub. I tested manually recording in Kodi it works on my main rig but on another box it deleted the file. Any help is appreciated. From NRecord.log

These are just normal messages. It's saying "it's time to stop the recording"

These messages are saying someone asked for the recording to be deleted.
