Can't select cable channel above 255

Good afternoon,

I seems like I am unable to tune in to channels above 255.
If I select a channel above 255 the wrong channel is displayed.
It looks like that the channels are starting from 0 again after channel 255.

Example:
If I select Channel 256 it will show Channel 001
If I select Channel 257 it will show Channel 002
If I select Channel 265 it will show Channel 009

The same thing happens when using WINDVR 5 that came with my PX-TV402.

Anybody know how to fix this. I don't think that this issue is related to GB-PVR directly.

Just FYI this does not happen in my configuration. I have channels on cable 2-75 and satellite 106-9405 (Dish Network) and everything works fine --- all channels are selected correctly and the USBUIRT changes the channels correctly on the Dish receiver.

Are you trying to tune in digital cable channels?

Its not normal to have that many channels on cable without higher number channel actually being digital (and obvious not able to be tuner in with a PX-TV402).

When I do an Autoscan for Cable in the Netherlands using WINDVR 5
I get cable available channel numbers from 1 to 376.
For Example: BBC1 is mapped to channel 319, BBC2 to channel 323
I use the same channel mapping in GBPVR. (see attached screenshot)

In GBPVR I can watch all channels except for:

I tried everything. I also have the correct channel Freq. settings in the registry.

Isn't this where GBPVR gets its channel frequency information from?
Even if I change the frequency in the registry it does not affect the channels ing GBPVR.

To be quite honest, I just tell a Microsoft API "Netherlands, Cable, channel 323" and it sorts out the rest. I'm not aware what registry settings it uses.

One thing you could try is entering the frequency (ie 752000000) instead of the channel number. This definitly works for the Hauppauge cards, and I think it should also work for the PX-TV402U.

GB-PVR treats channel numbers >9999 as frequencies.

Slowly but surely I get all my issues fixed.

Hi again.
Today uninstalled GBPVR 9111, WINDVR5 and WINDVD CREATOR 2 from my system.
I reinstalled WINDVD CREATOR 2 and did a clean install of the latest GBPVR 9112.
When defining the channels in GBPVR I entered the Frequency rather then the chanel number, as this solved a previous problem yesterday. (see last 2 replys)
I was supprised to find out that after reinstalling GPBPVR it would not accept frequency numbers anymore. It works with the channel numbers, exept for the 2 channels I mentioned above.
