Hi, I have a question about channel changer plugins. How well does the tunning assistant work as a channel changer plugin. Can it really change the channels on my external tuner? I have a digital cable box. I currently don't have my tv card but will have it soon hopefully. Thanks.

Huh? The Tuning Assistant is not a channel changer. It is just a simple utility to help you find what frequencies your broadcaster uses for transmitting channels.

To control an digital cable box, you need an IR Blaster like the Actisys IR200L or USB-UIRT. Depending on the box, there may be other options (like serial cable) that can be control via the .exe channel changer.
