Power off/on & Resume

Until today every time I powered on after being in a (MyMusic) playlist, I was able to continue where I left off. Today I always get back to the GBPVR Main Menu.

The only change to my system has been the latest XP Pro update?

Any body else? I wonder if this relates to Tipster's Network observation.

Tipster Hi, nothing major just the (seems like Daily) security updates. I have been on SP2 a while. I cant remember specifically what it was.

I am sure it is not the reason but I cant think why else it would change.

Now I find this very interesting, but it may be obvious to some of you.

I have resolved why I was resuming on main menu and NOT where I had left.

I used to have no 'sign in' on my server, however since activating a 'sign in' ( in order to use other servers on my network), I had restarted my main server but did NOT sign on. Main menu still gets started, however if i sign in, then powering the MVP off/on resimes the last state.

The only other thing which I have not discounted, is I also have a 'sign in' for McAffee privacy settings.

Nevertheless it is intersting to know. For example sonmetimes I just stick my whole (MyMusic) collection (well those ripped so far) on to a Random playlist. So when I resume I can just hit the next track button and continue.
