My HDPVR generates h.264 ts recordings. Generally, these play back great through mvpmcx2. One thing I have noticed though is the resume never works for these recordings. Is this a known limitation?

I can confirm it doesn't work. Martin did try to solve this some time ago, but I don't know what the current status is.

I think there are two resumes to consider, resume through the Video Library and resume through Recordings. Pop-up style resume is working is the problem so can I assume the problem is through recordings? Chris you will have to refresh my memory, on what the problem was. I will certainly need logs to see if GBPVR is requesting the resume, and if it is I am guessing the request is coming too quickly after the file is opened.

Martin, your words: "I guess the logic I have isn't good enough, but I am surprised I don't see it. I am going to need to think about this one.
However there also is a bug in GBPVR since the timeline will be off on
the Recording Resume when it work and the second bookmark would be
bad. I found this on mpeg and ts files. For now I suggest using the
Video Library.".
It's from the beta mails of the 1st of november with the title "mvpmcx2m time update".

I was primarily referring to resume on recordings. I did not think they worked through video library either, but I will try that again to see what happens. If I generate logs, will I need to reduce my MVP servers to just one? Normally, I have this set to 2.

Yes I am going to need logs from both of you. Resume does work on the Video Library on the HDPVR file samples I have.

Do I need to reduce the number of mvp servers to one before capturing the log?

My digital recorders are in my new server now, and I can't record at this moment , but I found older logs for this problem, including telnet logs.

Yes always.

Chris where those logs made with the new mvpmcx2 that had the workaround for the timeline bug?
