v5 Install Hung on Win7 64 Bit

I have been running Widows 7 64 bit OS, using Windows Media Center.  Well the EPG data stopped and so I wanted to try NextPvr.  I installed v4 and it sees the Homerun quattro I have EPG data but could not get it to display video.  So I tried installed v5.  It hangs on "installing files"

Is it conflicting with WMC? 

I use AVG A/V Also.

This could be a factor.

It probably best to uninstall v4 if you were just trying it, and going to move to v5. v5 is a rewrite, and effectively a different application, and doesn't have an in-place upgrade from v4.

Well I re-tried v4 and got the video working after installing win7codec pack.  Then I found a setting the win7 firewall that needed a check box and wala audio and video in v4.  So I will stick with that for now.  thanks.
