Truncated listings from xmltv in EPG

Hi there,

Apologies if this has been covered before, but I have found a small problem in the EPG where the decriptions for any programs get truncated. I have checked the XMLTV file and the full description is there. Is there any way round this problem?

Also, a minor issue, some characters (such as ') show up as funny greek-like characters, e.g. ae? Is this a font issue?

The information from the XMLTV file is copied to an Access database. The description is stored in a Text-field, which is only capable of storing 255 bytes.

Also, a minor issue, some characters (such as ') show up as funny greek-like characters, e.g. ae? Is this a font issue?

These characters seem to be directly copied from the xmltv.xml file, you might try to correct this in the XMLTV capturing process.
