I have a Hauppauge Cord Cutter Network dual TV tuner, hard wired into a gigabit network. When I go into settings\devices the only thing showing is "IPTV" nothing else. If I attempt to use it there is no SCAN button only able to import either M3U or XC which I have none to import. Hauppauge's site has info saying the cord cutter is now compatible with NPVR so I wonder what I'm doing wrong or if there's something I can manually edit to point it to the Cord Cutter and get a scan button that works. Any ideas would be great, also I have no logs as the program won't see any hardware or channels.

Not an expert on the CordCutter device, but with my HDHomerun which is also dual tuner, I had to install the software meant for the it, this in turn created a driver in the system which NPVR was able to find and use to detect the unit.

From there, I scanned available OTA stations from the HD Homerun software, and NPVR found those pre-scanned stations and mapped them to the TV schedule.  The other option was to scan stations directly from NPVR.

I expect you will need to do something similar.. see attached image for what is seen after the software for network tuners is installed.

Edit: You may not have to install any other software, it's not clear, and there's no wiki entry for this unit. In the forum I see notes that NPVR version 4 supports the CordCutter.  When you go into the settings, devices section it should scan, and there should be an entry in your log file:

2018-07-29 17:50:56.334 [DEBUG][1] Scanning Cordcutter TV devices

So, for you the first thing I'd check is that you've opened your firewall to allow the NPVR service through. Also make sure you've set up the tuner with the Android or iPhone app first.

Not all of the features on NextPPVR V4 made it into V5 ... It appears that support for the Cordcutter is not in V5 ... https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...cordcutter

You can try NextPVR V4 ... https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=59880 ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php

Going back to 4 did it, was found first try, odd you wouldn't carry over something you added in a previous version

NextPVR v5 is an entirely new application, and works on multiple platforms etc, and most of the application was redesigned and implemented from scratch.

The cordcutter device was an oddball device that didn't work like any of the other families of tuners the application supports, and I just couldn't justify the time and effort to implement support for this device in the new app.

I didn't intentionally remove it. It would have required a lot of work to add support for it in the new infrastructure.

Work that Hauppauge should pay for, IMO. They do have a link stating that V4 works with the CordCutter.
