Hi
I have just upgraded from V4 to V5 and am now getting Buffering issues when watching both live and recorded HD channels. About every 8-10 seconds, the display will pause for a second or two. A message saying "Server is not fast enough for playback in a web browser (0.947x)" often precedes the problem (which was not evident in V4).
Otherwise, everything seems to be working beautifully, including non-HD channels.

What are the best steps I can take?

Best regards.
Michael

In v4 did you use the browser with the modern UI or another client?

Hi Martin
I'm not sure how to answer. I used whatever came as a NextPVR download in about 2018.

That is probably the NextPVR.exe client. That is still installed with v5 and is still the preferred client for many users. Kodi is another alternative to the web player which is more a general viewer than a heavy duty PVR player.

Martin and Graham
Thanks. The light of understanding just flashed past my eyes.
Play-back via Kodi has eliminated this problem.
