Did your try Martin's suggestion to remux the video? I'm curious if it made any difference.

"C:\Program Files\NextPVR\Other\ffmpeg.exe" -i filename -codec copy video.ts

Yes, that made it play fine.  So it seems that something is wrong with that channel, as many of the shows from it have similar issues.

Now I need to find one of the recordings from a different channel that just has problems keeping the audio and video in sync.  I'll post a chunk of one soon.

For the Android app it isn't actually the mux, I have isolated it to packet 389. If I start at 390 ExoPlayer can handle it but NextPVR.exe still has troubles here. I sense the issue is cable card reloaded loading the decryption.

I do have better luck with nlite-dshow then NextPVR.exe which is unusual since I can't play live tv well with nlite-dshow

Martin

While checking over everything, I noticed that my HD HomeRun Prime had a firmware update pending.  I let it update and reboot.  Is there any chance that this will improve that, or is it a cable card thing?

Thanks!
