Hi all

I have a fairly large playlist, however the supplied EPG hasn't got all the channels needed. I was running Xteve, and was manually paired channels that lacked the EPG to about 4 other EPG XML files
That in turn was fed to Jellyfin, but have since ditched that setup as it was so buggy, and Jellyfin's interface was anything but user friendly.

NextPVR is by far the most user friendly, and simplest solution that I have come across, and has the least bugs. I have added all the required EPG files to the guide section, but there doesn't seem to be an option to manually tell the different channels what guide to use.

Please assist.

Thanks

On the settings -> channels page you can click on the setting icon next to a channel to map it a specific source. If they’d been different m3u source it might have been easier to map them at import time.

Thank you so much sub, figured it out! Only issue now is that with one of my large XML files, it takes forever to scroll down to find the correct channel, if only there were a way to search through the guide file to map the correct one to a channel. Also have another small issue, not sure if I must open a new thread or just post it here, will mention it. What is the best way to add channel logos to nextpvr? When I rename channels it removes the logo.

You can rename the channel logo file in C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\media\channels

Running my instance on a Ubunru VPS, that in turn is fed to an old laptop running LibrElec.
Where would the channel folder be in Ubuntu linux?

My plan would be to set up a FTP link between my Windows, and the VPS, so I can transfer the correct logos over.
