Windows 10 nextpvr exception at play recording

I have now upgraded to the newest version, and hooray, it worked. I can now watch recordings in Nextpvr.

ps: I noticed, however, that the in-screen stop and skip icons have stopped working. Thankfully I can still stop using the right click menu option. Let me know if you need logs for this little quirk.

Just noticed, all mouse clicks while watching the recording are being ignored although, hover over the icons is working. Can't manipulate the timeline. Also noticed upon restarting the recording, it starts from zero instead of where it previously was stopped.

Win some, lose some (sigh).

Oops. I must have hit play instead of resume. That part of my last post you can ignore, but the rest is relevant.

On the Settings->Decoders screen, what is Video Renderer set to? If it's not EVR, set it to EVR.

I have a problem with that. In the settings dropdown for codecs, the EVR is not an option. I googled evr and had no luck finding how to obtain one. Currentlly the video codec is a LAV codec, which seems to be the recommended codec during my search. Is there somewhere you know of that would provide the evr codec?

"Video Renderer" is the very top setting on the Settings->Decoders screen. What do you have in this drop down, and what is currently selected? (LAV are decoders, not renderers)

Aha! I did not know that. Found the evr and selected it. Tested a recording and voila, all is well. Thanks so much for the help.

Great.

It was originally set to EVR, but you must have changed it at some point. Mouse events sometimes don’t work with these other video renders.
