New Installation Issue

Hi

I have just built a new PC and installed NPVR ,(it is many years since I have had a problem with the software on my old machine )

When I execute the client I get a red cross and the following error :- I may have seen this in the distant past but can not remember the solution may be graphics or dot net

I am currently using the graphics built into my new AMD Radion 5600G CPU  and Gigabyte  Aous Elite motherboard

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Does it work if you run with the command line parameter -nogl That is a new GPU so it might not be fully configured.

The -nogl command works and I can see the various menu options.

If I press live TV the error reoccurs.

Do you have the AMD video drivers installed? It basically looks like the video drivers don't support opengl.

Installed the varios AMD support apps and NPVR is now very happy.

That is what I meant by your GPU might not be fully configured which was my first thought on a current machine.
