Channels from db3

I would like to attempt to extract the channel info that I have for my QAM tuner from the db3 using DB Browser, and save it to import to another setup of a different OS.

So, what tables in the NextPVR database contain the channel info?

This is probably better in the Developers forum as it might not be a simple matter of copying tables. If you also want to copy EPG mapping that adds to the complexity as well. Plus Windows and other platforms aren't necessarily compatible.

All told this is not a project that I would want to help with. I might be better to copy npvr.db3 to the new OS and see how it goes first.

I assumed that the db3 from Linux was not compatible for Windows and visa versa so I haven't tried it.

There are a lot of incompatibilities, just try the QAM tuner and delete the others. For sure the BDA ATSC/QAM cannot convert to HDHR and vice-versa.

Thanks, that actually works.

I can save a basic .db3 with the the QAM channels configured for new installs.
