DVB/ATSC EPG not updating

You need to find the file probably /storage/.kodi/userdata/add_data\script.module.zap2epg\xmltv.xml and load it in NextPVR as an XMLTV source and auto map by channel name when you find it.  All the TVHeadend/NextPVR functionality does is filter the list from the zap2it.com  You might be able to increase the days to get more data.

The hard part is automating it so you don't have to trigger an update

Success.  I was able to get up to 13 days of EPG data.  Finding a file in a hidden directory was much harder when you're sleepy and have not enabled the option System->Settings->Media->Show hidden files and directories.

I'm not sure I'll need to automate the updates, they were very fast because I didn't add too many channels.  I suppose if I use it often enough I can try it later.

Ok I hadn't released anything for NextPVR, but I posted my update from last year here https://github.com/emveepee/script.modul.../tag/2.1.0 I think it should import as a Kodi addon, but I didn't test it, remembering that I don't want to spend a lot of time on this.

Looks like you also converted to python3, whereas the original was python2. Nice!

Glad it's working, I think that is better the sub wasting time on ATSC data.

Sorry about the typo. Technically for none LE/CE users it is in the Kodi userdata addon_data/script.module.zap2epg folder. Note sure why the author didn't make this configurable.

There is a script that you can run that is included with the package but I would try this in UpdateEPG.sh
