Last night it was working great, this morning I get audio, but no video from live TV.

System re-boot didn't help...

Windows 2000 Pro
Sapphire Theatrrix 550.

Cheers...Barry

That's probably not enough info for anyone to help. The only functioning change I read in that was the sunrise.

I know....but I had changed nothing....I got out of bed, re-started GB-PVR and no video...audio only.....same all day, even after re-boots and stuff. I didn't change anything, so I don't know what else to say about it really...

I'm looking at the list, and that may not be a supported card. Resutls could be as random as that.

I did some more experimentation this evening. I re-installed the latest drivers from Sapphire (TV Tuner driver) and re-installed beyondTV. I have a picture there.

I saw the "Tuning Assistant" for GB-PVR and ran that, all the channels displayed propery, and it went through the list up to channel 74 or so...so all good there, I could see the video fine. I went through all the channels until it was done, then I re-started GB-PVR....still no video., jst audio...very strange indeed.

It worked great last night, and the picture quality was actually better than what I was getting on BeyondTV, and was planning on using it from that point on exclusively. But alas, it's stopped working for me and after fiddling with it all day today, it looks like Beyond TV will get my business. A bit of a shame because BeyondTV will not work propery on any monitor other than the designated "primary" one (in a dual-monitor set-up)...GB-PVR worked on my secondary screen (LCD) without any video stutter last night, so I thought that was great. But since it doesn't want to work anymore, I have to use BeyondTV, and drag my web browsers and stuff over to my LCD (secondary) and watch TV on the CRT (primary).

Ah well....I give up...:-)

In response to an earlier reply, in the settings I see my video chip in the "card type" list, so it would seem to be supported then I would think.

ATI Theater 550 Pro (just in a Sapphire card instead of an over-priced ATI one).

Cheers,

Wish I could help. If it's the card, maybe the ATI wasn't overpriced after all....
